They also have extensive experience in structural investigation and reporting and have a wide portfolio of refurbishment and conversion projects.

About The Role
A new team member to strengthen the Structural Engineering team. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering structural engineering design and project delivery solutions to residential, commercial, education, blue light and local authority projects across the UK.
The role will typically entail leading the detailed coordination of structural solutions and the delivery of our technical structural engineering output.
There is substantial variety in the projects that we deliver, ranging from a domestic scale up to around £40M contract value.

The role will be based in offices just outside Nottingham City Centre with ample parking and excellent transport links. Flexibility in working locations is important to us and most staff work from home for at least part of the week.

About You
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:
A diligent work ethic, keen to deliver a quality service.
Strong communication, personal effectiveness and team working capabilities.
A sound grasp of key engineering principles.
Experience in and a sound knowledge of all common types of structural engineering and foundation solutions.
Knowledge of relevant software packages including Revit and AutoCAD.
Knowledge and experience of the BIM process would be beneficial.
Providing solutions to technical problems.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company, clients and suppliers.
Share both knowledge and experience with other team members.
